“This has been a really strong weekend for our BMW M8 GTE – and we scored podiums on two continents. BMW Team MTEK managed to score its maiden WEC top-three finish at Fuji. Meanwhile, BMW Team RLL recorded another great result at the IMSA series’ finale at Road Atlanta with pole and race positions three and four. It’s great to see that we can battle for victories in North America as well as in WEC. Our teams and our BMW M Motorsport crew in Munich have worked extremely hard for this over the past months.
