BMW i AND THE ABB FIA FORMULA E CHAMPIONSHIP.Pioneers of electric mobility.

Breaking new ground, driving innovations, actively shaping the future of racing are the shared values of BMW i and the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. They have been partners from the very beginning. When the series made its debut in September 2014, BMW was already involved as the ‘Official Vehicle Partner’ and believed in the innovative concept, bringing motorsport to where the people are, among the world’s metropolises – free of emissions and noise pollution.

Since the start of the first fully electric race series, BMW has not only provided the entire fleet of safety vehicles, but has also played an active role in the development of Formula E. The next logical step in the partnership came in Season 5, with BMW’s works entry. True to the motto #RacingBeyond, BMW i has been transporting the values of Formula E to the urban environment of the Formula E racetracks ever since.

FANBOOST VOTING.

Every vote counts.

FANBOOST voting gives Formula E fans the opportunity to vote for a driver and help him get an extra power boost during the race. The five drivers with the most FANBOOST votes receive significantly more power, which they can make use of during a five-second time window in the second half of the race. Fans can start to vote six days before the race. Each fan can vote once per day. Voting ends 15 minutes after the start of a race. There are two ways to vote: online at https://fanboost.fiaformulae.com/ or via the official Formula E app.
