THE BMW SIM FAN CUP.Stage set for the fastest fans.

The fact that BMW Motorsport is supported by the best fans in the world is nothing new. But they are also the fastest. Which is precisely what they can prove in the BMW SIM Fan Cup. At real race events in the IMSA series, the DTM and the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, as well as at the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, they can set fast lap times during each event in their very own "Sim Area". The weekend's fastest racer will be given a starting spot in the BMW SIM Fan Cup final at BMW SIM Live in December.

WHO WILL MAKE IT TO THE GRAND FINALE?

BMW SIM Live 2020 awaits.

The same applies to the individual winners in the BMW SIM Fan Cup as to the winners in the BMW SIM 120 Cup and BMW SIM M2 CS Racing Cup races: They get to be part of the action at the grand sim racing season finale at BMW Welt in Munich at the end of the year – BMW SIM Live 2020. At the inaugural event last year, the pro race was particularly exciting. Mitchell DeJong crossed the finish line as the winner, followed by Laurin Heinrich and Maximilian Benecke in second and third place – who received a cash prize of €5,000 and €2,500 respectively. DeJong said: "It was a fantastic day for me. We got to meet the works drivers and many other sim racers. It was a privilege to be here. And the race was so much fun. It went pretty well for me – and was extremely exciting." Victory in the media race went to sim influencer Jimmy Broadbent, while in the fans race Michi Hoyer was the first to cross the finish line.
