A success story.

BMW TEAM RLL.A success story.

BMW Team RLL has been able to count on the support of BMW Motorsport for the past twelve years. The collaboration has already successfully competed with four generations of cars in North America. The current car, the MOTUL BMW M8 GTE, delivered success from the word go. After the successful debut season in 2018 saw the team record two wins, BMW Team RLL claimed consecutive triumphs in 2019 and 2020 at the most prestigious of all IMSA races, the 24 Hours of Daytona. Last year, the Ohio team laid the foundations for the subsequent overall success in the Michelin Endurance Cup, which consists of the classic IMSA endurance events at Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen and Road Atlanta. The drivers’, team and manufacturers’ titles all went to BMW. In the 13th year of working together, BMW Team RLL will be relying on consistency in the driver line-ups. In the #24 MOTUL BMW M8 GTE, John Edwards, Jesse Krohn and Augusto Farfus will be competing in all four IMSA endurance races. Bruno Spengler, Connor De Phillippi and Philipp Eng will form the regular line-up in the second car. They will be joined by Marco Wittmann and Timo Glock at Daytona.

THE BMW M8 GTE.

The BMW M8 GTE is the first BMW M Motorsport race car to see action before its production counterpart.
