THE BMW M6 GT3.A top athlete.

The BMW M6 GT3 has been a part of the portfolio of cars at BMW M Motorsport since 2016. The car is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology. The power train has dry sump lubrication and generates up to 585 hp – with the whole car weighing less than 1,300 kilograms. The BMW M6 GT3 was given facelift in the form of an extensive Evo package for the 2018 season, in order to offer customers a car with improved handling and even greater reliability.

The GT3 car won the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in its very first season. Two years later, the top model in the BMW M Motorsport range went one better and claimed a one-two at the same venue. This was followed by more major success last year: BMW’s 20th overall victory came at the 50th staging of the Nürburgring 24 Hours. In the Intercontinental GT Challenge, the BMW M6 GT3 finished first and second in the Indianapolis 8h and claimed its second victory at the Kyalami 9h, securing the title in the process.
