With three promising young drivers, the 2020 BMW Junior Team makes a comeback more than 40 years after it was founded back in 1977. The holistic, intensive training programme is still setting standards in the development of talented youngsters. Dan Harper, Max Hesse and Neil Verhagen will complete a training programme spanning two seasons. In addition to racing at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, the team concept is also an integral pillar of the unique approach and includes sim racing as a new, future-oriented area, mental and fitness training at Formula Medicine and training content within the BMW Group. To strengthen this concept, the drivers live in a shared apartment not far from the Nürburgring. As well as a large number of appearances in various BMW racing cars, the three talented drivers will also get numerous other insights into racing, BMW M GmbH and the BMW Group during the course of their training.

From the new entry-level model to the top car in the BMW M Customer Racing range: In its first season, the BMW Junior Team will get to know the entire range of BMW M racing cars. Behind the wheel of the new BMW M2 CS Racing, the BMW M240i Racing, the BMW M4 GT4 and the BMW M6 GT3, the BMW Junior Team will contest the entire season of the Nürburgring Endurance Series as well as the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. This will not only give the three talented youngsters valuable experience in handling the race cars, it will also give them crucial knowledge of the most legendary racetrack in the world.
