  • How can I purchase a ticket?

    Tickets are currently not available. Tickets that have
    already been purchased are still valid.

  • I own an older Ticket. How long is it valid?

    Claims from the tickets are prescribed after a period of three years. The time limit starts on 31st December of the year, in which the ticket was purchased. In the event of doubt the date printed on the ticket is applicable. Tickets can normally be claimed for a period of three years. This period of validity starts on the 31st of December of the year in which the ticket was purchased. In the event of doubt the date printed on the ticket is applicable.

  • Where will the ride take place?

    The BMW Ring-Taxi drives on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife located in the Eifel (50 kilometres to the south of Bonn). The GP circuit is not used. All the rides start at the BMW Pavilion located at the “Zugang Nordschleife” (Nordschleife access road), in Nürburg.

  • What do I have to bring with me?

    Please make sure you bring with you your ticket, booking confirmation and personal ID (passport) to your BMW Ring-Taxi drive. You do not need to bring any special gear or a helmet.

  • What a car is used?

    The BMW Ring-Taxi is a BMW M5. The key data: 560 bhp (412 kW), 680 Nm at 5,750 rpm, 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. Subject to alterations.

  • Who are the drivers?

    The BMW Ring-Taxi is driven by experienced BMW instructors from the BMW Driving Experience, among them well-known drivers such as Claudia Hürtgen. It is not possible to choose a certain driver.

  • Is it possible to book certain drivers?

    No. The drivers are only selected shortly before the respective dates, making it impossible to choose a certain driver.

  • How long does the ride take?

    The Nürburgring-Nordschleife is 20.8 kilometres long. A BMW Ring-Taxi ticket is valid for one lap that will take about ten minutes, depending on the weather and track conditions.

  • Can I do more than one lap?

    You can of course use several tickets for the BMW Ring-Taxi. However, we do not recommend inexperienced passengers to complete several consecutive laps. This is because the strain on the stomach and cardiovascular system is not to be underestimated.

  • When do the BMW Ring-Taxi rides take place?

    The BMW Ring-Taxi takes to the track on about 35 dates between April and October every year. These dates are on weekends or public holidays.

  • Are children and juveniles also allowed to participate in a BMW Ring-Taxi ride?

    Children and juveniles may also take part in a BMW Ring-Taxi ride provided they are at least 12 years of age and at least 150 cm tall. Please note that children and juveniles younger than 16 may only complete their BMW Ring-Taxi ride in the presence of a legal guardian.
