LAGUNA SECA.

24th September, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

The Laguna Seca Raceway, situated at the city boundaries of Monterey Bay in Northern California, awaits with one of the most famous bends in America: the “Corkscrew”, a steep, downhill double bend that demands utmost precision from the drivers. The BMW Z4 GTLM celebrated success here in the USCC debut year in 2014, finishing in second place in the GTLM class. Things were to get even better in 2015, when both the two BMW Z4 GTLMs finished one-two to present BMW with its first ever victory at the Californian circuit. The team suffered a disappointment the following year: neither car was able to back up the previous year’s success, finishing ninth and tenth.
