Requirements for taking part in the Formula BMW Racing Experience.

There is one important prerequisite, which all participants on the Formula BMW Racing Experience should meet: They must enjoy driving. Experience behind the wheel of a racing car, and even racing licences, are not necessary.

All instructors on the programme have racing experience. Among them is three-time World Touring Car Champion Andy Priaulx, as well as BMW works drivers Joerg Mueller and Augusto Farfus. When it comes to analysing the circuit, determining where to brake or finding the racing line, the instructors are available for any questions you may have.

For our Formula BMW Racing participants the requirements are:

  • No racing skills necessary
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid drivers license
  • Physically healthy and fit
  • No maximum age limit
  • Body height 160 - 188 cm
  • Body weight < 100 kg
  • Shoe size < 47
